Drifting in little more than a whisper isn't fine, nor tedious. Wafting with the waves only lifts you far enough to believe in another side. Though the crescented sky revealed the sun's crimson shadow, I repined that its tenor were mine. Choice's vice held me to my promise: wading safely in the water. Stop listening to the sharks and glaze your eyes over to the bodies facing down, lapping up water until so gorged they bob as bloated buoys into the setting of tomorrow. It was farther than simplicity could explain. Robin's egg blue, contrasting eyes in hurricanes of fury, pouring down with summer monsoons. I am a girl who loves computers, music, and all things that make sense and are challenging. I appreciate things I know have taken forever to do/create/etc. even if I care little for the subject matter itself.

My musical preferences are hard rock, metal, and scores (instrumental soundtracks usually from movies), though I tend to have at least one song I like in every genre of music.

My favorite type of art is digital.

I am always constantly trying to create stories though I am probably the poster child for someone who cannot stick with an idea. After I have five pages of one story written I get a new idea... and the cycle continues.

On a side note: my favorite color is orange and I am allergic to most fruits and some vegetables, (most) furry animals, and common seasonal allergens. I also wear contacts :D

School ended. That statement, in itself, is enough to make me cry out of happiness. Though I do have a summer math packet.  The only class with mandatory summer homework is the one I "love" most.  Sweet irony. I am starting my first job tomorrow which should be exciting though I am still immensely confused with what exactly I will be doing.  It is sort of like a paid internship so it should be a great learning experience. More importantly, I just saw Roger Waters' "The Wall" live in Chicago two days ago (Friday). The show was great.  It was a little strange, though, that for half the concert you couldn't see ANY of the band/Roger's faces

Summer Horizon

School is almost over so the world is becoming a little less stressful. Except, of course, that I have finals.  :) Besides that, though, hopefully I will have more time.  I'm starting part-time job this summer which should be interesting, since I've never worked before (for a steady wage).  I will be working in a Data-Intensive Distributed Systems Laboratory which is essentially (according to wikipedia) networking and cloud computing and important things that actually apply to everything one does online.  It is the internet. So, I am actually really looking forward to it.  I am in to computers so this is interesting to me and I hope I lear

Ubuntu Update :D

Hello to anyone who cares I am psyched because of the new Ubuntu update.  All of the handy-dandy features promised to intel graphics chipped sandy bridges actually apply to my computer since it is so new.  If you know nothing about linux you might want to stop reading ^ So this time I decided to -try- an upgrade to Ubuntu because I have never done one before, only clean installs. Anyways I downloaded it (took something like 5 hours because the Ubuntu server, I hear, is so bogged down) and I am actually on it.
